a sham it proved to be
like an egg, love is edgeles

it breaks and shatters
in a blink of an eye

makes sense when with your loud mouth
you swear never to love again
great storms raged
ravaged your vessels
lonely
disenchanted
you inched through the storm
into a greater darkness
shivering
clueless
where is she you loved the most
your future obscured
a captain of you my heart
had just been lost
stil, slowly you hurled
your tear lost in the confusion
knowing where to go
was she the lighthouse too?
not only that, you answered, she was your soul
